Hi gang, I'm back teaching the summer class of the second section (July) in Rome this summer.
It's an awesome class.. Here's what folks have said about it before:
“If you take one class at the Rome Center, take Rich Martini’s film class. Changed my life.” Michael Fricchione, JFRC summer class of 2009. “Rich Martini’s class impacted me as much as - if not more than - my entire study abroad experience. From class visits to Cinecitta to shooting a gritty documentary, the class covers a broad range of cinema and Italian culture. It really did change my life.” Charlie Noel, JFRC summer class of 2009. “(Richard’s) contribution to the making of “Salt” was enormously helpful, to Angie, and to my vision of the film. (His) writing, directing, shooting of digital flashbacks, were truly inspired and important components in the story’s telling.” Phillip Noyce, Director of “Salt” “Clear and Present Danger” “I had a great time visiting your class in Rome. Best of luck to all involved.” Duncan Clark, President of International Distribution for Universal Pictures.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
what is necessary is a sense of adventure - learn how to make a short film along with your fellow students. It's a lot of fun - and we'll visit the famous Cinecitta film studios. Hope you can make it!!!
